For most average individual entrepreneurs, the idea of having a business that can effect global environmental conservation is a stretch. This kind of business is thought of more in relation to large businesses with vast capital to invest.

Actually the reverse is true. Small individual home businesses are doing the most to make the biggest difference for the effort to positively effect global conservation of our planets resources and the natural world.

There are many companies that have an environmental vision and mission that is a profit source for many home businesses. Network marketing companies that embrace a global environmental mission and divert a percentage of their profits toward that mission are doing great work.

As an example a company I know about has a vision and mission to preserve the sustainability of the most environmentally critical eco system on Earth. They are invested in not only making a profit for the company and all their independent distributors but just as important is their mission to make a substantial difference for the preservation of the eco system, which in this case is the Amazon Rainforest. They partner with indigenous tribes and support their sustainability so they can stay on their land in the rainforest. There is a driving passion on the part of the company and everyone involved to be a part of this mission. Making an income is a wonderful incentive and allows people to put their time into this environmental mission instead of just treading water at a job.

When we can have a business that creates a good living and promotes global environmental preservation we gain a sense of satisfaction that we are doing something meaningful that is bigger than just our own self interest. The income we get allows us to live a lifestyle and have time for our business and mission. As well as time for ourselves and families.

Having a career as an environmental entrepreneur is part of the greater solution for global environmental preservation. The main motivation for the destruction of the worlds environment is profit. I believe it is ironic that the solution for saving our planets environment is also economic. People will more readily take action in their own lives if they can also make an income or become wealthy taking action.

We are at a critical cross roads on this planet and the environmental tipping points are looming. Doing nothing is not an option. I believe that if we can harness the business and income producing sectors of our societies to take action and see the vast profits that are available from environmental preservation then we will have a chance to clean up this planet and create a more sustainable model for the world.

When people can get paid to work toward a mission bigger than themselves they will work harder and feel good about it.

Home businesses whether working in association with a parent company or operating independently can make a substantial difference in when they embrace a positive mission and goal for a better world.
